There are a few actors that voice characters in this movie that I didn’t even know could sing the way they could. I’ve listened to the album on repeat and it still gives me chills. I believe the reason I like this movie so much is because of the music. This is just the beginning of their huge adventure. Not only does the group need to put on a huge musical production, but they also need to find the missing Calloway. The group’s spirits rise and the planning begins. Crystal then chose the group as the winners of the competition under the condition that Calloway be in the production. Crystal loves the idea of having Calloway in his show and the revenue it will bring in. This is a harder task than it presents itself to be because Callaway has not been seen in decades. The group begins to lose hope until Moon promises that they can incorporate Clay Calloway into their act. Quickly after the group starts singing, Crystal shuts them down. Crystal is the producer that the cast, led by Buster Moon, thinks will get them the break they need. The movie begins with the “Sing 2” cast wishing to participate in a singing competition, organized by Jimmy Crystal. Porsha Crystal, voiced by Halsey, is Jimmy Crystal’s daughter, the newest member to the animal singing group. Jimmy Crystal, voiced by Bobby Cannavale, is the antagonist, alongside the big-time producer that Moon wants to get his group contracted with. The group includes Ash (Scarlett Johnason), Johnny (Taron Egerton), Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), Meena (Tori Kelly), and Gunter (Nick Kroll). Buster Moon, voiced by Matthew McConaughey, is the producer and leader of the animal singing group. Clay Calloway, voiced by Bono, plays a famous musician that goes missing. The cast features many well known actors and singers. Illumination Productions released the movie on December 22nd, and has received a 71% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. “Sing 2” was directed by Garth Jennings, who also plays the infamous, one-eyed Miss Crawley. I will even admit to listening to the playlist on Spotify before school some days. I was sitting in the theater with goosebumps all down by arms. Walking into the theater with friends, I could feel the excitement in the air as we were waiting to hear the new soundtrack of “Sing 2.” I can proudly say that this soundtrack did not disappoint. The sudden power available at a touch is just not what I am used to.Bono, Halsey, Scarlett Johansson, and star in “Sing 2”. It’s like I spent my whole life driving a little golf cart that wouldn’t go faster than 10 mph, then suddenly was given a high performance car to drive instead. *I don’t know how to use the mixer, it is much more powerful than I am used to and I keep turning it up too high. I’ll roast and chop some shelled walnuts I already have instead. I know what my problem with it is and I kinda know how to correct it*, but I’m not going to buy shelled pecans at over 12 bucks a pound again until I’m sure I have it right. It’s supposed to be cold and dry again tomorrow and I’m going to try divinity again. He didn’t do it like I would have, so another load will be started in an hour, but I certainly am not going to breathe a word of that to him, so you guys need to hold it down too. Hubs loaded and started it for me which was very nice of him. We will do it again.Ĭlean up has been finished and the dishwasher is slogging along. It was very good and carving it wasn’t any harder than carving an upright bird. Jane, I started salivating when I saw the picture of the turkey. To all of y’all gettin’ snow, better thee than me. I am becomin’ a little fluid in Brown from readin’ doggio’s posts. Oopsie hope you are enjoyin’ or enjoyed the concert. I agree about Christ The King Sunday always havin’ some good hymns, especially Crown Him With Many Crowns. Sari can’t remember whether or not I already commented, but yay of the house sell!ĬupCakes glad you got your wheels started. Taters I already commented over on the book of faces, but Maisie and Buster are cut overload puppehs! Next up is what I am told is the last season of The Crown. We almost gave up on it halfway th*rough the series cause it got a little stoopid, but then it got better, so glad we stuck it out. Nappage was followed by watchin’ the last few episodes of Six Feet Under. Oh and we had mimosas cause we’re gay and must have mimosas with brunch. I can’t even remember the last time I made or even et French toast. After that we had a brunch of French toast and thick cut apple wood smoked bacon. I figured I’d see a slim crowd, but a lot more folk were there than I expected, so, yay for that, I guess. Howdy Y’all! It’s been a lovely day indoors while the HEAVY RAIN poured down outdoors.
